Electronic ballast with enough range to dial your light back or crank it up when flowering gets serious. Runs any 1000W lamp you throw at it — HPS, metal halide, double-ended. Comes with both voltage cords and aluminum fins to keep it from cooking itself. Used, still in the box, which means someone bought it and never hung it or used it once and moved on. Best for: Anyone running a 1000W lamp who wants dimming control and doesn't care about shiny new gear. Skip if: You need something smaller than 1000W or you're already running digital and don't need a backup.
